When I walked without Christ, guided by vanity

Corria para todo lado, em busca da felicidade

I ran everywhere, in search of happiness

Gozando os prazeres do mundo, que vive cheio de maldade

Enjoying the pleasures of the world, which is full of wickedness

Para enganar muita gente, e principalmente a mocidade

To deceive many people, and especially the youth

O mundo esta enganando o povo de toda idade

The world is deceiving people of all ages

Que vive de olhos fechado sem enxergar a verdade

Who live with closed eyes without seeing the truth

Porque eu também era assim, eu falo com sinceridade

Because I was also like that, I speak with sincerity

Do jeito em que eu estava vivendo, eu estava perdendo minha mocidade

The way I was living, I was losing my youth

Mas quando foi um belo dia, eu senti a necessidade

But when one beautiful day came, I felt the need

Do perdão de meus pecados, para viver em santidade

For the forgiveness of my sins, to live in holiness

Para ir morar lá no céu, para toda eternidade

To go live in heaven, for all eternity

Aonde eu receberei pelo o que pratiquei em minha mocidade

Where I will receive for what I practiced in my youth
