From the palace of King Nebuchadnezzar

Para adorarem a estátua que ele levantou

To worship the statue he erected

Para sua própria glória

For his own glory

E todo aquele que não se dobrar perante a estátua

And whoever does not bow down to the statue

Será lançado na fornalha de fogo ardente

Shall be cast into the fiery furnace

Assim disse o rei, assim se fará

Cheios de unção e de convicção da cabeça aos pés

Um olhando para o outro, dizendo

Não vamos nos prostrar

Ainda que custe a nossa vida, vamos ser fiéis

Começam os preparativos para a banda tocar

E a cada minuto que passa, deles aumenta a fé
