No meu barco a remar

In my boat rowing

Sobre as ondas, pelo mar

Over the waves, through the sea

Mesmo na bonança ou no furacão

Even in calm or hurricane

Não desejo mais parar

I no longer wish to stop

Com a rede vou pescar

With the net, I will fish

Muitos peixes para o reino de Sião

Many fish for the kingdom of Zion

Vou pescar os pecadores para Cristo

I will fish sinners for Christ

Neste mundo cheio de horror

In this world full of horror

Não mais desanimarei

I will not be discouraged anymore

Minha rede lançarei

I will cast my net

Muitos peixes apanhando p'ra o Senhor

Many fish catching for the Lord

O meu barco não é bom

My boat is not good

De pescar não tenho dom

I don't have the gift of fishing

E me dizem que não devo continuar

And they tell me I shouldn't continue

Mas Jesus me quis mandar

But Jesus wanted to send me

E por isso vou pescar

So, I will fish

Té que Ele se apraze em me chamar

Until He is pleased to call me

Tem um modo o Senhor

The Lord has a way

Que é próprio do amor

That is characteristic of love

Ele usa dos remidos o menor

He uses the least of the redeemed

Todo o mundo me deixou

Everyone left me

E de mim se envergonhou

And was ashamed of me

Mas alegre, vou pescar, pois é melhor

But joyfully, I will fish, for it is better

Se há coisa de valor

If there is something valuable

E a rede de amor

And the net of love

Cujo fio é a obra de Jesus

Whose thread is the work of Jesus

Que puxada sempre traz

Which always brings in

Os perdidos e sem paz

The lost and troubled

Para receberem do Senhor, a luz

To receive the light from the Lord

Quando há um temporal

When there is a storm

E a pesca corre mal

And the fishing goes bad

Novamente no meu barco vou pescar!

Again, in my boat, I will fish

Pode ser que desta vez

Maybe this time

Eu não tenha mais revés

I will have no more setbacks

Pois Jesus eu levo para m'ensinar

For I bring Jesus to teach me

Acabando de pescar

Finishing fishing

E deitado a pensar

And lying down to think

Tenho gozo pelo tempo que gastei

I have joy for the time I spent

Pois terei um galardão

For I will have a reward

Pela pesca, em Sião

For fishing in Zion

Pelas almas que no mundo eu ganhei

For the souls I gained in the world
