Quem quer hoje mesmo a Jesus seguir?

Who wants to follow Jesus today?

Seu pendão alçando, ao combate ir?

Raising His banner, ready for the fight?

Quem quer, humilhado, sempre O servir

Who wants, humbled, to always serve Him

E obedecê-Lo, Seu querer cumprir?

And obey Him, fulfilling His will?

Quem quer ir com Cristo, quem responderá

Who wants to go with Christ, who will respond

Presto, sem demora, eu, Senhor, irei?

Quickly, without delay, Lord, I will go?

Onde for o Mestre, tu também irás?

Wherever the Master goes, will you also go?

Quem dirá agora, eu Te seguirei?

Who will now say, I will follow You?

Quem seguir a Cristo quer, com mui amor

Whoever wants to follow Christ, with great love

Dando-Lhe tributo, dando-Lhe louvor

Rendering tribute, giving Him praise

De Sua nobre causa, sendo defensor

In His noble cause, being a defender

E na santa vinha, ser trabalhador?

And in the holy vineyard, being a worker?

Queres tu segui-Lo, sem vacilação

Do you want to follow Him without hesitation

E fugir dos braços da vil tentação?

And escape the clutches of vile temptation?

Sempre confiando na Sua proteção

Always trusting in His protection

Por fé desfrutando Sua salvação

By faith, enjoying His salvation
