As grandezas do Senhor e seu poder

The greatness of the Lord and His power

Ordenou, então, às nuvens lá dos céus

He commanded the clouds in the heavens

E as comportas das alturas fez abrir

And opened the doors of the heights

Fez chorar-lhes o maná e alimentou-os

He made manna rain down and fed them

E lhes deu para comer o pão do céu

And gave them to eat the bread of heaven

O homem se nutriu do pão dos anjos

Man ate the bread of angels

E mandou-lhes alimento em abundância

And sent them food in abundance
