The vegetable garden dawned in endless confusion

An endless mystery

O Espinafre junto com o agrião então

Spinach along with watercress then

Viraram detetives da missão e o feijão

Became detectives on the mission, and the beans

Chamou a couve e a salsinha

Called cabbage and parsley

O repolho e a cebolinha

Cabbage and spring onion

A investigação virou um caos e ali

The investigation turned into chaos, and there

Ninguém sabia mais o que fazer e daí

No one knew what to do anymore, and then

Tudo virou uma salada

Everything turned into a salad

Uma bagunça danada

A complete mess

E nada pra concluir

And nothing to conclude

No final do dia um broto, então, surgiu

At the end of the day, a sprout then emerged

Uma plantinha verde ali do chão saiu

A little green plant came out of the ground

O repolho ficou de olho

The cabbage kept an eye

E a couve viu o que houve

And the parsley saw what happened

E o mistério acabou

And the mystery was solved

A nova plantação era de tomate.

The new plantation was of tomatoes.
