Uma certa irmã tinha um marido bravo

Que não deixava ela ir para a igreja

Naquela hora a irmã se alegrou

E o Senhor disse: mulher, levanta

Pois para ti nada ainda está perdido

Vai ao mercado, faz uma compra de peixes

A irmãzinha obedeceu à voz de Deus

Foi ao mercado, os peixes ela comprou

Nesse momento foi chegando seu marido
